Case study · Manufacturing

A recent case, start to finish.

The threat. Attackers registered a lookalike domain and invoiced the firm’s customers for “updated bank details”, diverting supplier payments.

What we did. We found every domain behind the fraud, took the sites down, and kept watch for new ones aimed at their buyers.

The result. The invoicing domains were closed before any customer paid one, and the six that followed were removed as they were registered, so the fraud never got a second run at the same buyers.

monitoring on procurement domains

The prevented total is the face value of invoices already issued from the fake domains when they were taken down, so it is money asked for rather than money recovered. The domain count covers the same campaign.
